Set List Map In Java

Both set and map interfaces are used to store a collection of objects as a single unit. We have added four elements to hashmap using put method on tihmap. Retain & remove elements/ nodes of linkedlist collection.

Based upon our understanding of the difference between set, list and map we can now decide when to use list, set or map in java. A map can't be traversed, so you need to convert it into set using keyset () or entryset () method. Map put (k,v) method is used to add or insert element in hashmap.
